This policy sets out what you may not do with Niyoos. It is part of our Terms of Service and applies to every customer, Member and agent. "You" includes anyone using your workspace and any agent connected to it.
1. Content you must not send, store or share
In line with rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you must not use Niyoos to host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update or share any information that:
- belongs to another person and to which you have no right;
- is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy (including bodily privacy), insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, relates to or encourages money laundering or gambling, or promotes enmity between groups on the grounds of religion or caste with the intent to incite violence;
- is harmful to children;
- infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right;
- deceives or misleads the recipient about its origin, or knowingly and intentionally communicates information that is patently false or misleading;
- impersonates another person;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States or public order, causes incitement to an offence, prevents investigation of an offence, or insults another nation;
- contains software viruses or any other code, file or program designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource;
- is patently false and untrue, written or published in any form, with the intent to mislead or harass a person, entity or agency for financial gain or to cause injury to any person;
- violates any law in force in India.
2. Activities you must not carry out
You must not use Niyoos, or let your agents use it, to:
Security and integrity
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of Niyoos, or break or bypass its authentication or security, except as allowed by our Responsible Disclosure page;
- interfere with or overload the service, or attack other customers or third parties through it;
- use another person's agent key, provider key or account without permission;
- send malware through the proxy, or use it to command or control malicious software.
Limits and fair dealing
- evade plan limits, spending limits, the kill switch or rate limits, for example by creating multiple free workspaces to get around the Free plan's limits;
- resell, sublicense or provide Niyoos to third parties as a service of your own, unless we agree in writing;
- use Niyoos to build or benchmark a competing product by copying its features or interface.
People and data
- process personal data without a lawful basis, or without the notice the law requires;
- send children's personal data, or sensitive personal data such as passwords, financial account details or health records, through the service without a lawful basis and real necessity;
- create, distribute or facilitate unlawful deepfakes or synthetic audio, images or video that impersonate a real person;
- use the service for unlawful surveillance, stalking or harassment;
- send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) or carry out fraud or phishing.
AI providers and platforms
- break the terms or usage policies of the AI model providers you call, or of the platforms you connect (such as n8n, Zapier or Make);
- connect custom endpoints that you are not authorised to use.
3. Why this matters for an AI proxy
Niyoos forwards your agents' requests without reading them for our own purposes. That means you are responsible for what your agents send and receive. Our automated controls (spending limits, loop detection, the Free plan limit) act on usage patterns and your settings; they do not review content for legality. If we become aware of unlawful content or use, we act on it as described below.
4. Reporting misuse
Report content or use that you believe breaks this policy or the law to grievance@niyoos.com. Our Grievance Officer acknowledges reports within 24 hours and resolves them within 7 days. See the Grievance Redressal page. Report security vulnerabilities through our Responsible Disclosure page.
5. What we do about breaches
Depending on how serious the breach is, we may:
- ask you to stop or fix it;
- revoke an agent key, stop an agent, or block a custom endpoint;
- suspend your workspace, in whole or in part, under clause 15 of the Terms;
- close your workspace under clause 16 of the Terms;
- remove or disable access to unlawful information when we receive a valid court order or a lawful direction from a government authority, within the time the law requires;
- preserve information and report to law enforcement or CERT-In where the law requires.
We act proportionately, tell you what we did and why where the law allows, and restore access once the issue is fixed.
6. Reminder
We remind users of this policy, and that we may suspend or end access for breaching it, at least once a year.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes are notified under clause 17 of the Terms.
